Great Leaders Solve Problems- Fake Leaders Create Them

by | Dec 20, 2025 | Article, Leadership, Personal Development, Success, Video

Leadership isn’t about titles, corner offices, or how loud you speak in meetings. The true test of leadership is simple: Do you solve problems, or do you create them?

Great Leaders: Builders and Problem Solvers

Great leaders understand that their primary responsibility is to clear obstacles, not become one. They have the courage and clarity to make decisions, the humility to listen, and the wisdom to empower their teams.

A great leader equips people to tackle meaningful challenges. They don’t shy away from complexity; they dive in. Why? Because solving big problems creates value. As the saying goes, the bigger the problems you solve, the more impact (and often income) you create.

This is why great problem-solvers naturally rise into bigger roles and larger organizations. They become magnets for opportunity.

Fake Leaders: Bottlenecks and Chaos Makers

On the other side are the fake leaders, the ones who manufacture confusion instead of clarity.

These are the insecure micromanagers who can’t make timely decisions, who stall progress, who drain trust rather than build it.

Fake leaders create bottlenecks that slow the entire organization. Instead of empowering people, they disempower them. Instead of building confidence, they inject uncertainty. Their leadership is shallow, reactive, and driven by ego, not mission.

The Impact on the Organization

Great leaders accelerate growth.
Fake leaders suffocate it.
Great leaders unleash talent.
Fake leaders restrict it.

Great leaders build cultures where people can thrive.  Fake leaders build cultures people want to escape from.

Your leadership, great or fake, doesn’t just affect you. It shapes the entire environment around you.

What kind of leader are you?

  • Are you the one who solves problems… or the one who creates them?
  • Are you the one who empowers… or the one who limits?
  • Are you the one who clears the path… or the one who blocks it?

Leadership isn’t about perfection. It’s about direction. And every leader has a choice. Choose to be a great leader!
