If you could live your life over again, what would you do differently?  A recent study showed that people wished they had risked more, reflected more, and done more things of significance; things that would live on after their death.  On a recent vacation, I took time to reflect on my life and came up with ten lessons I wish I knew 20 years ago.

1

Don’t accept working with people with bad behavior or bad attitude

2

Be more compassionate with everyone

3

Be careful to who you listen to

4

Don’t let your surroundings limit your dreams

5

Know when to say no

6

We all have blind spots

7

Talking less and listening more is golden

8

Taking time to invest in others always pays dividends

9

Important work is never completed

10

Focus on giving not getting
