Have you ever been told you’re “One in a million” when it comes to your health? I heard those exact words during my yearly physical. My doctor looked at my chart, smiled, and said, “You’re one in a million.”
I asked why.
His response stuck with me: “Because I’ve seen you year after year working hard to stay healthy.” I shrugged and replied, “I do try.”
But he quickly corrected me. “No, you don’t try. You do. I have many patients who talk a good game. They try for a while, but they don’t stick with it. You do.”
That conversation was a powerful reminder: good health isn’t about trying, it’s about doing.
Yes, genetics plays a role in our health. But much of our well-being comes down to the choices we make every day. Some things are beyond our control, but what is in our control deserves our attention and action.
What are you doing today to improve your health?
I once heard someone say, “If you have your health, you can wish for a thousand things. But if you don’t have your health, there’s only one thing you will wish for.”
Your health is your foundation. It affects your energy, your mindset, your relationships, and your ability to enjoy life. Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish; it’s essential.
So, challenge yourself today:
Make the decision to be consistent.
Make the decision to take action.
Make the decision to be one in a million.
