Each day I write down my three top priorities on a 3×5 index card. By focusing on the three most important items and completing them, I can ensure my day was a success.
There will always be distractions during the day, but by putting these priorities on paper and scheduling time to complete them you are set up for great success.
Many times we must do things we may not want to do, but they are part of our job. As you consider your priorities, the more you can align them with your purpose, the greater your fulfillment.
Always ask yourself: Do these priorities align with my purpose? My purpose statement is to encourage and empower others to live, lead, and finish well. I work to align my priorities with this purpose in mind.
