How To Defeat “If Only”

by | Jun 17, 2022 | Personal Development

Most likely, we have all used the words “If Only.”

If only I had applied myself in college.

If only I would have stayed married.

If only I had saved more money.

If only I would not have made that decision.

How do we defeat “If Only?”

Three Weapons to Defeat “If Only”

1.  Embrace Discipline

Make discipline a friend. Successful people will do what unsuccessful people are unwilling to do.

2.  Eliminate Doubts and Doubters

The majority of doubts are unfounded. Self-doubt will cause a lack of confidence, procrastination, and aversion to risk. Don’t listen to the voices in your head planting seeds of doubt or the people who doubt you.

3.  Enlarge Your Dreams

Do not let “if only” limit your dreams. A man is not old until his regrets take the place of his dreams. (Old Proverb)

Defeating “If Only” means a better life, becoming a better leader, and more success for your organization.
