TEN THINGS I WOULD SHARE WITH PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP IF I COULD MEET WITH HIM FOR TEN MINUTES.
1
If you are good, you don’t have to tell people you are good.
2
Confront people privately one-on-one.
3
The team must be aligned.
4
Have a communication plan that everyone supports.
5
Don’t get defensive when you receive feedback.
6
Be above reproach.
7
If you want your team to have your back, have their back.
8
Take responsibility for mistakes and failures of your administration, but give credit to your team members for successes.
9
Focus on building relationships, not winning.
10
Sideways energy kills momentum.
As a Christian, I have a responsibility to pray for those who have authority over me, so I pray regularly for the President and his family. Today as I prayed for President Trump, I was prompted to write these 10 Leadership suggestions. I humbly send these with a heart to serve and help; not criticize or condemn.
